I graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Queensland in 2001. Throughout my 25 years as a vet, I have worked all over the world in general practice and emergency clinics.

For the last 5 years I have exclusively dedicated my work to helping pets pass at home. I have had the privilege of supporting many beloved pets to find peace on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers. My purpose is to ensure that they are never scared, that they are pain free and that they are surrounded by love. This is my souls work and I am so grateful to be able to help.

Outside work my life is very simple, I spend as much time in nature as possible. I live on a small farm in the Northern Rivers with my family, a pug, two cats, three horses and two goats.

I started The Peaceful Vet so that every pet would have the opportunity to receive the best end-of-life veterinary care in the comfort of their home. Every pet deserves to feel safe and comfortable, surrounded by their loved ones, when it’s their time to be put to sleep. I am here to guide you and help you make a timely decision for your dearly loved friend. Euthanasia is the last form of care that we can give to our pets.

​Ten years ago I was faced with the difficult decision to euthanase my beloved cat Bee, who was like my first child. It was important to me that this was done at home, where he felt comfortable and that it was as peaceful and beautiful as possible. I know how it feels to say goodbye and all the emotions that surround this time.
