People always ask me why I chose to focus on home euthanasia as my job?

For me, it is the ultimate privilege to be there in the final moments of an animal’s life and gently guide them through their transition. I can ensure that they are not scared, that they feel safe and supported and I can support their family so that they stay calm and connected to their beloved friend in their final moments.

It is so heart warming to witness a family gathered around their dog or cat, holding them as they take their last breath. Tears of love being shed. I hear stories of their lives together, how they found them in the first place and how their animals often got them through their darkest times.

It is the most beautiful love story.
